Because she spent her entire Spring Break one year in Wisconsin learning how to make frozen custard as part of my dad’s dream to open up his own frozen custard shop.
In all fairness to my dad, his custard shop was incredible and delicious and really great, but I do love the hilariousness of them all having to fly to the midwest during their Spring Break to learn how to make custard from scratch.
I specifically love this picture of all of them in front of the factory where the custard is made: Ross’s Manufacturing. You don’t think it’s gonna be a fun place to hang out until you see that there’s a custard cone in the logo, and then you know it’s not gonna be fun.
